High-level proficiency in Second Language Use
Two of the nine different projects are headed by scholars of the Dept. of French, Italian and Classical Languages: Late stages in Second Language Acquisition – Morpho-syntax vs. Discourse (Inge Bartning) and Aspects of the Advanced French and Italian Learner’s Lexicon (Camilla Bardel). French is also represented in a third project: Formulaic Structures and Communicative Proficiency in Advanced L2 Usage.
